Spanish is taught to students in grades Pre-K through grade 8. The purpose of the Spanish program is to enrich students with an understanding of Hispanic culture and the Spanish language. They learn a wide range of vocabulary and the basic mechanics of the language. As the students advanced through the grades they learn how to read, carry on simple conversations, and write in Spanish.
